It can be rough when the courses are country clubs and only the "elite" get in. We have some Public Works courses (owned and maintained by Parks & Rec) that are relatively affordable. My son is 11 and kind of in between the little par 3 courses and full length courses. TopGolf has become a great way to get some golfing in with him without worrying about his not being able to hit it far enough.
