Opening tonight is AJ Styles calling out Nakamura. However Rusev and Aden English comes singing. The Crowd loves Rusev as they chant Rusev Day. It is so funny to me how the WWE fans change as Rusev was once hated by the fans. Do you recall the days of Cena vs Rusev and fans so hated Rusev. Wounder why fans never really got into Roman Reigns but loved the Rock.
Shelton Benjamin comes out and talks about Chad Gable and says he asked for big competition. Just as Jeff Hardy comes to the ring Randy Orton leaves the ring. The US Championship comes back to Smackdown with Jeff Hardy. Up to Soma Joe I was not really all that impressed with Smackdown roster. It will be interesting to see how Shane and Paige work together on Smackdown.
Carmella comes out to the ring for her Mellabration as the crowd says YOU DESERVE IT!
Charlotte Flair comes out and congrats Carmella. Billy K and Peyton Royce come out and a fight happens with Flair. However Becky Lynch comes to aide Flair on the outside of the ring. That was a bit of a disappointment due to no new women joined Smackdown from Raw.
