Beltran vs Moses Review by the Outlaw Micheal TomsiksteemCreated with Sketch.

I was live at the Boxing event at GSR on February 16th 2018. It started at 4pm and there were several bouts on the card. The main bout of the night was Beltran vs Moses. Upon arriving there was no line and the event was fairly empty. Before I review the main event here are the things that I really hated and heard a ton of complaints about from people in the audience.

GSR is not really set up for boxing while the Grand Theater may be great for concerts but it is not really set up for boxing. The biggest issue was where the ring was down low in the front in the start when the theater was empty. Than you could see the ring and the fights perfectly but by the time the main event came and the theater was packed you could not see the boxers in the ring. People standing up blocked the lower seats view of the match so you end up watching on the two big side screens of the fight, If I wanted to watch a screen I would stay home however and I found many people agreeing with me.

Secondly the lights they used kept hitting people in the eyes and blinding people during the intermissions and between rounds. It was so bad several people around me complained about it.

REVIEW OF THE BELTRAN FIGHT:

The crowd was really in favor of Beltran chanting and cheering for him upon his entrance to the ring. The fight started off slowly but soon picked up the pave. Both fighters seemed pretty well matched but Moses got Beltran in the 3rd round pretty good. By the 5th round the crowd was cheering for Moses. Moses had a few good rounds by this point in time and Beltran seemed to be in trouble. By the 7th round the crowd changed again Chanting Beltran and cheering when he had a flurry of good punches on Moses. You could tell by the 10th round both fighters had gotten tired but Beltran started to take the rounds. The 12th round came and the crowd was standing and cheering for Beltran seemingly believing he had won the match.

The final decision from the Judges gave Beltran the win!
