Workout and good nutrition: the key for living longer

in #sports8 years ago

The other day I went in my exercise routine, running around somewhere near my house, I was tired enough after running for more than 30 minutes and I was just exhausted when suddenly I stepped next to a Speed rather superior a gentleman, I had stumbled but the truth that I did not pay much attention to him, not even I could see his face, I only knew he was a gentleman. A few meters ahead I see that the man stopped, but he was not tired, in fact he looked quite energetic, I still did not see clearly who he was and I went ahead. As I got closer I managed to recognize his face, it was an old elementary teacher who had recognized me and I had stumbled on purpose so that I would stop, however tired I was ignored his signal.

Teacher: You look pretty tired huh.
Me: I am, how long have you been here?
Teacher: I've been running a little over 45 minutes and I'm still standing.

Frankly I was ashamed to tell him that I was tired of having run less than him, but nevertheless I asked him what his secret was to be in such good physical condition, since running 45 minutes is not easy and much less being still energetic After such a trot, and incidentally he was a person of 60 years.

Most of the older people in this world are delicate people, fragile people with many physical problems, however this did not seem to stop my teacher who had already left to run about 15 minutes more, leaving me in ridicule virtually for not having He was able to even match his record for that day.

But that event left me pensive for a long time, how it was possible for a 60 year old to be in such optimal physical condition and I, a 20 year old would have tired me in the middle of the time he got tired. During the time we were talking he told me that for several years he had been on a regime of diet and constant exercise, which meant that he was always in shape and with a less risk of suffering heart attacks and things, he ended by saying that a correct diet and a workout of continuous exercises were the key to "living more".

The constant exercise will keep you in top condition all the time. Muscle fibers when subjected to high intensity exercises break down and regenerate, making them increasingly better off than they had before the exercise routine that broke them. Being in physical activity all the time, makes in the long term your muscle fibers are totally strong and resistant to activities that maybe before could not have endured. My teacher seemed to be doing totally well with all this, despite the age was a fairly strong type and in optimum condition, his secret was that for years had been developing this condition, what happens is that most of us are a few Lazy, that just having to exercise for a week at a time could turn out to be a nightmare, and I know, it's pretty comfortable staying in bed watching Two and a half men, but long-term body capacity with Years ends up passing the bill of all the damage that we have done to him during all that time. My teacher was an example to follow, not many individuals of that age can do what he was doing.

Without diet there is no result. Have you ever heard the phrase "you are what you eat"? Well, it's a totally true phrase, people who exercise a lot, but they have a correct diet, they are more likely to be stuck losing a lot of energy (mental) in the exercise, frustrated by not achieving results. Food is the source of all result, to produce some particular result it is necessary to adapt the diet based on that goal. In the case of my teacher I was accustomed to eating many healthy vegetables and carhobidrates, avoiding the fried foods and those things that at that age are harmful to the heart and liver. Of course, I also know that it is much more tasty to eat hamburgers, some pizzas, chips and so, in fact if they were so expensive would be very tasty to eat all that every day, but doing this produces fatal results even in the short term.

The results occur during rest, not during training. Many of us (those who do exercises) have ever made the mistake of believing that the muscles or condition develops during training, completely ignoring the rest they need to grow and condition themselves to a new level. While we sleep is the process of regeneration of muscle tissue by broken fibers during training, causing the muscle to swell to adapt to new levels of stress, which causes the muscle to have as much strength as volume and resistance . Without rest this process is not complete and the work done during training would become null or rather slow.

Undoubtedly training and eating well, I have to be sincere, it is quite difficult because of the strength of will to have to follow this plan in a disciplined way, I honestly there was a time where I followed a strict diet and a Strong training plan for 2 months in a row, I got great results, but after a few months I went back to the fat because it's really quite tempting to eat how to stop training because of sleeping, but how hard I was to train hard if I Produced results. However, today I am barely 20 years old, at the age of 50 the freedoms for this kind of thing will not be the same, I have the option to start that process today, or just complain of pains and things within 30 years, or Even before maybe.
