RE: Watford Dreaming of Champions League

in #sports7 years ago

Arsenal are a team dead on their knees. Arsene Wenger has lost the Arsenal changing room for years. He is no longer a great manager all he has done is winning 3 EPL and a few Mickey Mouse cups too. His judgement of players are not sharp as they once were with him. The players he has are just all rubbish and cannot play as a unit. Ozil is overrated and as for Sanchez he is just a pure baby who has thrown all his toys out of the pram. I have seen milk turn quicker than some of that Arsenal team.
Jumping the gun with Watford they`ll finish bottom half of the table. Only the strongest survive to finish in the top 4 of the Premiership. I think that pure jammy season Leicester had only Greece have done something similar when they won the Euros. I cannot see history repeating itself twice.

You can't have a jammy season. They won the league over 38 games; they were the best team in England that season. As for Greece, it's a bit easier to win a knockout competition where you only need to win 4-5 matches. I'm not saying it's easy but Leicester winning the title was much harder to do.
As for Watford, only time will tell, but this is the beauty of the Premier League.

But I do rate the Euros as they are much better and harder competition to win than the World Cup. Euros usually have the top 16 in a tournament and the World Cup is like the Champions League filled with so many weak players and teams. I think when you have a self-belief among a squad of players you can just steam through everyone else like a steamroller. I think Leicester or Everton might go down this season.

The Euros is great, but they've weakenednit by allowing 24 teams into it now. Still not easy to win, but with luck you can get far (Wales) and sometimes win it (Greece).

I agree they should of just kept it at 16 teams only.
