Zidane had to field a pretty unknown side against Leganes. For instance, the defence consisted of players who rarely play, or even less, have played together.

Kovačić who lead the midfield for 62 mins did a fantastic job, Real were cruising until Kroos' entry, he was substituted
for Kovačić, proving again, Kroos is a liability for Real Madrid.

Mayoral might have scraped in a goal, but he is far from real Madrid material.
After scoring, Bale never really threatened again, which can probably be contributed to the fact he rarely plays, because his quality is unquestionable.
