Real Madrid game against Ajax was a Set-Up

in #sports6 years ago

Real Madrid have gained a widespread reputation of having their games heavily influenced by the referees in their favour.
Whether that's true or not, can and will be discussed, but one thing's for sure, that offside ruled-out no-goal against them in the Amsterdam Arena was a set-up.

European football is implementing a new kind of judging system, called VAR, which (un)fortunately still hasn't caught on in the English PL, with the heavy arguments against it for it consuming too much time, but that is not even close to the real problem of VAR.

The main problem which has emerged is that now instead of both teams getting a similar treatment by the VAR system, it's still pretty much in the referee's hand which occasion deserves for VAR to be called in, and which not.

In the short history of VAR it's usually been the more famous teams that've been granted the decision in their favour, whenever VAR's been called upon, for instance; Germany in the world cup and that comical Nigerian fail, and those are only 2 of many wrongs VAR has made, or we should say referee have made.

And wouldn't you know it, last tuesday VAR was again called against the lesser team, with Ajax having their goal dissallowed for a funny offside inflicted decision, when Curtois, after another one of his blunders, was nowhere near the ball and couldn't reach it even if the passively offside Ajax player wasn't there to "obstruct" him.
It was such a ridiculous call to make, and what's even more ridiculous are the people defending the decision.

Another question comes to mind, and that's why Ajax didn't get a call for VAR when Real Madrid scored a goal when Lucas Vasquez had clearly commited a foul a couple of moments before Real scoring that goal.

When is VAR called upon, what are the rules, who decides the VAR to be called upon?
The referee ? Oh!

Well then, we're back to square one, cause now the referees have even more power to help the corrupt UEFA narrative to get their favourite teams as much advantage as possible.

It used to be Barcelona, now it's Real who're getting these ridiculous decisions in their favour.
One thing's for certain, UEFA are corrupt, have always been corrupt, and will continue on inventing ways to stay corrupt.

The once beautiful game is now becoming much like NBA and many other sports, a corrupt game.

Navas never made mistakes in 5 years like this guy has in his first half of his first season
