Is that what you would tell the poor woman in New Jersey that was stabbed to death by her Ex husband while waiting for her gun permit to protect herself? Is that what you would tell her children and family? Please people, look at the real facts around safe gun use and how often it is used by people to defend themselves from rape, murder, robbery, beatings, and worse. Yes there are a few psycho's running around that do bad things, but we need to punish the bad people doing bad things, not strip lawful owners from protecting themselves and others.
