Hi ! guyz, i am here to tell you all about that took place at the auction of the tenth edition ipl(indian premier league) that took place today i.e february 20 at bengaluru in india. For all those who are unaware about what ipl is, let me just brief you all. IPL is a indian cricket league that takes place every year in india organised by the indian cricket board since 2008. we are in its tenth edition in 2017 . every season begins with usual proceedings with auction being held a month or two before the league starts.Similarly, it was nothing new this year with each ipl franchise going in for the auction with a pre-defined mindset. this year it was more of seam bowling all rounders that were considered more by the teams so as to provide a correct balance to their side. With likes of BEN STOKES ,CHRIS WOAKES and the veteran SRI LANKAN ANGELO MATHEWS being the few of them.

this season BEN STOKES fetched the highest bid of INR 14.5 CRORES taken by the RISING PUNE SUPERGIANTS. this was the highest bid ever fetched by any overseas player playing in ipl .I saw franchises investing more on the fast bowlers also with young indian uncapped players which were unknown till date. some of the other notable buys were TYMAL MILLS of ENGLAND going to ROYAL CHALLENGERS BENGALURU in INR 12 CRORES, KAGISO RABADA of SOUTH AFRICA going to DELHI DAREDEVILS in INR 5 CRORES, KARN SHARMA of INDIA going to MUMBAI INDIANS in INR 3.2 CRORES. it was even disappointing to see some of the players with immense talent being unsold with the likes of CHETESHWAR PUJARA ,ISHANT SHARMA and IRFAN PATHAN .
