CRICKET - NOT JUST A SPORT IN INDIA

HELLO! to everyone reading this post of mine. Let me tell you the extent to which we indians love the sport of cricket. As my title says , it is not just a sport , it is more to it. Inspite of the fact that cricket is not the national sport of INDIA, it is loved more than anything else in this country.

It is like a religion to the people of INDIA .Since, the time we indians have followed the sport,it has been one of those things that unite people from various parts of the country with diffferent backgrounds and cultures to play this game of cricket together.
SOME OF THE GREATS OF THE GAME:

There have been many greats to have played these auspicious sport of cricket. there have been many players who have got the golden oppurtunity to serve their country through playing this sport . it includes some players who are worth mentioning such as the legendary SUNIL GAVASKAR , the elegant KAPIL DEV , the god SACHIN TENDULKAR, the wall RAHUL DRAVID , the aggresive SOURAV GANGULY , the wristy MHD. AZHARUDDIN and many more who have made the country proud in their own times.

if u talk of cricket , the name that strikes your mind from indian cricket is sachin tendulkar . this man has achieved every possible feat that a cricketer could achieve on a cricket field. he has managed to break every record . this man has served his country for 24 long years and made the country proud ever since he held the bat in his hand. now when he has left the game 3 years ago , he still continues to inspire many a young cricketers to take the sport of cricket and help india achieve big.

INDIAN CRICKET AT PRESENT :

INDIAN cricket is presently in safe hands. Players like MS DHONI , VIRAT KOHLI , YUVRAJ SINGH , ROHIT SHARMA have now taken the responsibility to take load of indian cricket and help it in best of the possible ways. they are now the path bearers for many young budding cricketers to play cricket. they are the right ambassador for the game.
