Arsenal and Liverpool are set to face off when the EPL resumes this weekend as both teams seek to make their intentions clear in the premier league this season. This has been helped by the form of their front trio which merely has been on fire this season. This is true despite early fears that Salah would not perform highly despite his last season heroics. Arsenal, on the other hand, would be hoping that their recent blip to crystal palace away from is just “a blip” and would not have any effects on their next game with Liverpool. They would take confidence from the fact that the game would be played at home in front of all their fans. They were nonetheless on a brilliant run of form despite the result last week. Since the first two losses to Chelsea and Manchester City, Arsenal has not looked back and gone on a winning streak of twelve games which ended on Sunday to a draw at Crystal Palace. Despite the draw, Arsenal is still on a 13 match unbeaten run which has seen them rise to about fourth and are only four points behind the leaders Liverpool and Man City. They would be hoping to steal all three points from Liverpool this season thereby being the first team to do this in the EPL.

For Liverpool, their line-up would be filled with so many options. However, you can expect most of the regular faces to show up for Liverpool. Sane, Firmino and Salah should all start for Liverpool, which really is bad news for Arsenal. Arsenal, on the other hand, would be hoping to make progress with their full squad blazing. You can expect Lacazette partnership to continue with Aubameyang while Ozil is also likely to start. However, with Bellerin pulling off with an injury, Arsenal's defense is severely depleted, and it would be interesting to see how Unai Emery shakes things up. You should expect to see Xhaka continue his role as right back for Arsenal in this game which would surely be a delight for Liverpool attacking players.

Arsenal would be hoping that their home advantage would count in what is set to be tested to see how much of a title contender they are this season.
