🏈Looking Back In History: 2006 NFL Draft🏈
Comment your opinion below as I always respond!
I'm going to be starting a series breaking down the NFL drafts from 2000 all the way to 2016. In this I'll list all the first round picks and surprise picks from other rounds. I'll also give my thoughts on the best selections. The draft is where NFL franchises are made, especially corner stone players that last 10 years on a given team, let's look back and see how all our teams did!
You can find the other drafts below:

First Round:
Another disappointing first round...I mean no real super stars here aside from a few...Haloti Ngata, D'Brickashaw Ferguson and Nick Mangold standing out. There was a lot of serviceable players taken with no complaints, just never lived up to that future All-Pro first round stigma. By this I mean players like Jay Cutler and Mercedes Lewis. A few players inbetween these levels like Tamba Hali, Jothahan Joseph etc.
Later Rounds:
The later rounds were above average but nothing special....This draft is just regular, nothing special all around lolol. D'Qwell Jackson and DeMeco Ryans stand out at the top of the 2nd round, two serviceable picks for sure. Andrew Whitworth and Greg Jennings stand out in the mid-second...Man who remembers some Greg Jennings, great throw back! The 4th round was one of the better rounds with Jahri Evans, Brandon Marshall and Elvis Dumervil. Later on the draft gave us Delanie Walker and Kyle Williams and Donald Penn undrafted!
Big Ngata 92!
