1980 was the year Georgia last went to the national championship. Alabama, 16 national championships. That's four since 2009. Players coached by Nick Saban. Coaches coach who have also been coached by Nick Saban. Both coaches says it's not personal. It's business.
Need a ticket? $1,411.00 is the upper level row 21 ticket price for ONE. (Nose bleeds.) Atlanta has been full of both schools fans all weekend and more to come day of game. Atlanta will be filled with fans with both teams with both schools homes being so close.
I attended the BCS National champion in New Orleans where after the game where people said, "we will never have 2 SEC teams playing for the national championship again." That was 2012. A whole different football playoff later and we have yet again 2 SEC teams battling it out to be the best.
