Prediction #3 The Most Underrated Player Of Each NBA team! Western Conference PART 1 (Southwest Division)

The NBA nowadays is about stars, star filled teams and crazy marketing amounts, but every team needs players to be either great in their role, or are just be the clue that makes the team more successful.
Today is time to turn the spotlight on those players! Here is my pick on the most underrated players on each team of the NBA.
I will post about a Divsion every day, but please let the season start soon!

Okay the Western Conference has more star power then the Eastern, but there are some many guys that play vital roles on the teams in the Conference, who would you pick?

Southwest Division
This post will be about the Southwest Division, lets have a look at the players I picked.

Dallas Mavericks
Let’s start with the champions off 2010-2011 the team owned by that very competitive owner the Dallas Mavericks.
In my opinion there is only one players that is underrated on that roster, he happened to be on the Championship roster as well, J.J. Barea.
He is undersized but his toughness makes up for it, I saw many games in which he was the one to set the tone. He is very well liked by coach Carlisle and knows the system and what it takes to be successful.

Houston Rockets
That question for the Rockets will be, will one ball be enough? They have so many ball handlers and play makers, who will be in charge and how can they keep everybody happy?
Luckily they have some great role-players as well, therefore it was really hard to pick my favorite on this team.
You can name; Ariza, Nene, Mbah a Moute but I picked the new addition P.J Tucker. I really believe he will set the tone on defense, and defense is what the Rockets need, they can fill up the scoresheet but in order to win you have to score more than your opponent.
He is a no nonsense, no ego, working hard type of player, who really invested in himself when he was playing in Europe.
He will be a great addition! Trust me guys, followed Toronto closely last year when he was playing there.

Memphis Grizzlies_
I worry for the Grizzlies because in my eyes the lost two key players in Vince Carter and Tony Allen.
I expect them to preform less than last year because of it, the player I pick for this post will be Chandler Parsons. It can’t get any worse in year two right? If he can get back in shape and preform as he can he will be key in their success!
I believe in him still, so please show us who you really are Chandler.

New Orleans Pelicans
They league is getting smaller and faster and shooting is getting more important, it’s a real trend, a trend only the Pelicans do not follow!
So I am very curious to see where they will end up this year. There is only one guy who decided how successful they will be, Rajon Rondo!
He has leadership if he wants to, and championship experience, okay last year with the Bulls was turbulent but I believe this year he will run the show again.

San Antonio Spurs
Popovich for sure, without him the Spurs will never be so successful everybody knows that. But this post is about the players so I have to pick Patty Mills, his role will grow with Tony Parker getting older. He averaged a career high 21.9 minutes last year, so if he can perform like Parker does the Spurs will be fine!
If not, if will be difficult to win more games than lasts year, oh but wait they have Popovich so maybe not!
Also expect Rudy Gay to be important to what they want to do.
