Mexico, the United States and Canada will host the 2026 World Cup
FIFA chose on Wednesday in Moscow the joint bid of Mexico, the United States and Canada to host the World Cup to be held in 2026. It will be the first time this championship is played in three countries. These countries will organize the 2026 World Cup, an edition that will be different from the previous ones because it will be the first World Cup with 48 selections. These developments have left a number of doubts among fans regarding the format and how the distribution of seats and venues will be.
How will the distribution of the venues be?
The 2026 World Cup will have 16 venues out of 23 that are still in the process of being elected. In this edition will participate 48 teams that will play 80 games in 34 days. According to the plan of the organization, 60 of the 80 meetings will be played on American soil. Mexico and Canada will each receive ten meetings.
