Seriously, can anyone beat Golden State. GSW will start the shortest price in NBA history, the odds suggest you may as well give them the title now. How can Cleveland improve to beat these guys?
To put this Championship in perspective. Golden State went 15-1 in the playoffs. Narrowly missed being the first team in history to go 16-0 on the way to a Championship. They blew away opposition and averaged sick numbers throughout the season.

Barring injuries i don't see any other team being able to stop golden state. Steph Curry being the main threat, followed by Durant.
Cleveland might have a shot if they get another big name but the current team, no chance imo.

Good question and i'm not an expert on the confusing American transfer/wage system. The European football rules are so much simpler. The cavs are also above their wage bill at 125m.
One name i see mentioned is okc's safalosha. Decent pick and gives them some threat from the 3pt range.
Maybe they could look at trading for any of Paul George, DeMarcus Cousins or Chris Paul....
Sadly to say this GSW team will dominate the next years for sure and make the playoffs less interesting.
I don't mind the super-team aspect. And actually it makes it kind of fun to watch, albeit in a different way. A casual watcher wouldn't really know the difference or have much rooting interest between team A and team B, but now it creates a storyline to see if anyone can knock off the monster.
That said, it's silly that Durant believes it's "1-1" between him and LeBron now. Play for a super-team if you want to, but you don't get to act like you went toe to toe with LeBron.
Yes, this super team thing is fine with me. I backed golden state at 4-1 this year :) Barring injury they will win again also, so I shall reinvest. Cleveland need to find the other part to compete, they are not far off.
