Excellent blog. I couldn't agree more that the Colosseum I mean football is a hazardous sport. Parents should not allow their children to join the team IMHO. I was a defensive tackle in 10th grade and injured my shoulder badly. Coaches of course still wanted me to play. I don't think my shoulder has ever been the same.

    Thanks...I'm not sure what is going to happen with youth football. I imagine after enough lawsuits, the age of full contact will be raised. In Canada, the age of contact has been raised to 15 in some youth hockey leagues.
