World Cup in Ski Jumping 2017 in Wisla Malinka - Poland on the podium!

Poles ranked second in the first competition of the World Cup in Ski Jumping 2017/18.

The inauguration of the Ski Jumping World Cup started with a team competition in Wisła Malinka. For the first time in the history of jumping Poland is the hosts of the inaugural jumping competition.

The winners were the Norwegian team.

Polish national team took second place in the World Cup competition on the hill. Adam Malysz in Wisla Malinka.

The team consisted of: Piotr Żyła, Dawid Kubacki, Maciej Kot and Kamil Stoch. The competition started at 16 PM.

After the first series the Polish jumpers took first place, the second was the Austrian, the next Norwegian, German and Japanese.

2. Austria 495,7 points

3. Norway 493,9 points

4. Germany 484,8 points

The final series started with fantastic jumps of representatives of Norway.

The Poles took the second place with Austria, losing 17.3 points to the excellent jumping Norwegians.

Final table of the contest:

1. Norway 1023,8 points

2. Poland 1006,5 points
   Austria 1006,5 points
