My Old AK 47
Here's a shot I took on a white backdrop of my old Zastava M70 O-PAP AK 47 by Century Arms. I did a nice wood treatment for the furniture to make her look a little bit more shiny and red with some cherry wood stain and polyurethane. I outfitted her with a side rail mount and a Primary Arms 1-6x ACSS scope. The scope was on the affordable side and did just the trick for this amazing rifle. Unfortunately, I had to sell her off to another well deserving shooter, but this rife will live in my heart for many years to come. Good ol' 7.62x39.
AK 47 my favorite.
Great weapon
She's a beauty, sorry you two aren't together any more.
Me and my girls had to part ways when I came to Russia :(
Very nice! Sorry to hear that as well!
Thank you
That's very sad and heartbreaking. They were a lovely pair. :-(
fortunately they are still mine, just not allowed to own them in Russia. I miss them dearly
@vladivostok Really, I did not know that Russia had regulations on guns I had no idea? I know Australia gave up their rights to gun ownership. Anyone that forfeits the rights to own a gun are Fools. I am not saying that is what happened in Russia or Australia I don't know. In order to learn this stuff a person has to do so much homework. I just know that in the US people need to pay attention and protect the right to own guns Article 2. I understand your lonely feeling I would feel the same. Thanks for replying.
Very difficult to own guns here as a citizen much less an expat, pretty much hopeless. Will be shooting soon, maybe be traveling to USA soon
Awesome, definitely enjoy some range time. Here is what I think in Honor of Lieutenant-General Mikhail Kalashnikov that every person in Russia who so desires should be able to purchase an AK at a discount price of only 47 dollars over cost. LOL :-)
Oh man how I wish this was true. In a perfect world it would be the case
My buddy buried a few AKs in the woods years ago. He triangulated the locations of where they were buried off of stakes he set. Not sure how that works but he explained it to me somewhat along those lines. Anyways, somehow he lost the stakes. Now he just has a few AKs buried in the woods somehwhere😂
yikes
Time to bust out the trusty metal detector. Where is the general area, anywhere near SF Bay Area CA? I will go get those babies.
Ouch
She's a beauty. I love that rifle. One of the greatest rifles ever designed. We must give thanks to Lieutenant-General Mikhail Kalashnikov.
