ANTONIO CONTE HAS JUST BEEN SACKED AFTER SUCH A TERRIBLE DEFEAT TONIGHT. WATFORD 4-1 CHELSEA FULL-TIME.
It is just crazy. I said it quite a number of times in my previous post about how unpredictable the premier league could just be at times and also to always expect the unexpected from each premier league match. And that was exactly what happened tonight at Vicarage road how Watford humiliated the defending champions, Chelsea. It was indeed a crazy score line.
Chelsea coming off the back of an embarrassing defeat at Stamford bridge where they were thrashed by Bouremouth three goals to nil came into this match with little or no confidence judging by the way and manner they played. After that defeat against bouremouth one would expect the chelsea team to come into this game with much character, ambition and also to come here to prove a point after that defeat but unfortunately they did otherwise. What a shame.
Alongside the speculation surrounding Antonio Conte whether he would still remain the coach of chelsea or not before the end of the season, this result does not make things better for him and for the entire club as a whole. Well, with the look of things and with the way and manner Chelsea has sacked previous coaches in the past, one shouldn’t be surprised if Conte gets sacked tomorrow or anytime soon.
It seems it’s turning out to be a trend now in the premier league, if a team gets to lift the premier league trophy a particular season, the next campaign would turn out to be terrible, as it was the case for Leicester city, and now Chelsea. And mind you, before Leicester city, it was Jose Mourinho’s chelsea, after lifting the premier league trophy that particular season with chelsea, the next season turned out to be really poor for them. And he was sacked soon afterwards. Aubameyang’s transfer to arsenal was linked with Batshuayi and Giroud’s move, batshuayi had to join Dortmund on loan as a cover for Aubameyang’s departure and Giroud was sold to Chelsea. The point am trying to make is that both Aubameyang and batshuayi kicked off their debut game for their new clubs with debut goals, batshuayi scored 2 goals for Dortmund while Aubameyand scored one for arsenal and they both got off to a wining start unlike Giroud. The title of this post says Antonio conte has just been sacked, Lol!!! was just kidding to get your attention, i guess i got your attention though but you never can tell he might just get sacked tomorrow. We all know what chelsea football club is capable of doing.
