MotoGP - Sachsenring: the 8th wonder of Marc Marquez
Another uncertain weekend for the MotoGP championship, this time at Sachsenring, Germany. Not the best race ever, but very significant for the championship battle.
The weather was changeable again with wet qualification on Saturday and you know, when it rains, it's something more similar to a lottery... There isn't any surprise in the first raw, with the two Honda Repsol in 1st and 3rd postition with Marquez and Pedrosa; after a great race in Assen, Petrucci confirms his magic moment with the 2nd place on the start grid. The championship leader, Dovizioso, has only the 10th time, between the Yamaha of Rossi (9th) and Viñales (11th). Apparently easy for the spanish defending champion, but just apparently...
Eight-in-a-row!
Yes, Marc Marquez did it again. He won in Germany again, for the eighth consecutive years, from Moto3 to MotoGP! There was no competition today and, excepting a copule of laps behind Folger, it was a monologue. Not much to say, most of the riders saw him on the start grid and then again on the podium. Unbelievable!
The outsider
Very close to the new championship leader, there is an outsider: Joan Folger, the german guy riding at home for the first time in MotoGP. The Yamaha Tech3 seems to be sometime better than the official one, but it's not enough to stay permanently on the top. In Assen it was Zarco the surprise, his teammate, this time is Folger who rides the Yamaha to the podium.
The group
Not many emotions behind the lead group. Pedrosa, 3rd at the finish line, runs alone for almost the entire race, Viñales overtake his teammate Valentino in the last laps, but both the Yamaha seem not to be in their top condition. The official Ducati Team finish the race with Dovizioso in 8th place and Lorenzo 11th. Bad luck for Jorge this year, he still cannot find the right feeling with his Ducati and the only 65 points at the middle season break prove his very difficult period.

After the summer brake, there will be 2 races in a week, Czech Republic on 6th and Austria on 13th. Enjoy it, because when MotoGP will be back, the game will be very interesting, with 4 riders in just 10 points. Everything could happen, stay tuned!
