My face after the first day of le tour de france
It was an intense first day! What a shame for what happened to Valverde today, he was key in his team! He was one of the favorites in the tour, but anyways, c'est la vie!
He wasn't the only one that didn't make it to the end, so sad, all of them have prepared a lot for this.
And also disappointed that the SKY team in leader... Nairo doesn't have it easy but he is great!
So sad! I'm excited how this tour will go. It would be cool if you can update us at the end of each stage :) Thank you!

Ends the season (and quite possibly the career?) for Valverde. As for Quintana, this is devastating, as Valverde was going to be the main domestique for Movistar. Sky now has 4 in the top ten, but most importantly Froome has a pretty good lead already over the top GC contenders. Given the flat course, Froome may already have won this race as attacks and big time gaps will be lessened. Hopefully I'm wrong.
