Shitty United Shit the bed
Prior to the start of the game when the lineup was announced, United fans seem confident, Martial FC they chanted, Sanchez wasn't going to be in the game coz of a "little problem" Mourinho said in his presence match conference. Fast forward Halftime and United had shit the bed, Lindelof and Bailly were all over the place, Martial was average, nothing was working out, Manchester United was simply a mediocre team ridden with its preseason woes and the manager had no answers to the question right in front of him, this was a team, no this wasn't a team just a bunch of players trying but failing to play football.
Ed Woodward sat in the crowd fuming, surely he new this was coming, it was only a matter of time. The United team on display against Brighton didn't deserve to win, they need to do something and fast. This was but one game, the season could turn out to be worse, with fans already calling for Mourinho's sack it's only a matter of time if results are not delivered.
Ed has his own questions to answer, when he faces his bosses, how did they get here, what can they do. Imagine this were the questions he was chewing on while he wore the furious look as the match was being played, as every Brighton counter attack could deliver another blow. Whatever they end up up doing, they have to do fast, as it appears the manager has list faith in Ed, and the players in the Manager, it's a shitty situation to be in and one they shouldn't let fester for too long, a lot is at stake.
