Mizzou’s Drew Lock on Denver’s Radar.

The Denver Broncos could be in the market for a quarterback in the 2019 NFL Draft and Missouri’s Drew Lock could be on the team’s short list.

Now everyone knows it’s way to early to speculate on quarterbacks but keeping an eye on all the top 7 guys is just Elway and the Broncos doing the “due diligence “ before April. I fully expect Case Keenum to the the starting quarterback in Denver next year but, a look into the future is prudent for the Broncos.

Though the Denver Broncos signed Case Keenum to a two-year, $36 million contract in the offseason, they are by no means settled at the quarterback position for the foreseeable future.

Keenum’s deal in itself is a bridge to something for the Broncos, whether it’s a contract extension for Keenum himself or a road to be paved for a young quarterback. Because of that fact, John Elway and the Broncos’ front office are making personal appearances once again for some of the country’s top quarterback prospects.

I know Elway has missed on some quarterbacks in the draft but, to say he doesn’t know what he’s doing is reckless talk. There is no other person in the world I would rather have in charge of the Broncos and sooner or later we will score a good young prospect. As I always say.....you go your way.....I go Elway.
