Baseball Time
Baseball is a great sport. I enjoyed playing when I was younger, and enjoy watching it now. I snuck in a final in person game before the season was ending with a friend a couple nights ago- we saw the LA Angels vs Seattle Mariners. It was a great time and the weather was perfect. The LA Angels are not making the playoffs this year, but my favorite team, the LA Dodgers did make the playoffs, which start tomorrow... Go Dodgers! I do not make it to too many Angels games, but found the parking reasonable ($10) and food affordable ($6 for nachos; $9 for large domestic beer; $5 for hot dogs). Not a bad way to spend the evening!

I was thinking about it... I have gone to a few playoff games, which are always fun, but they are expensive and it is sometimes just as enjoyable to watch at home! Are you a D-backs fan??

To be honest, not really a big baseball guy, but I will watch if my home team is in the playoffs. I am much more of a Suns guy.
I agree with you. Not only is baseball a great sport to watch and play, it can teach us a lot of about life as well. Learning that hard work pays off, how to lose graciously, why not to get too presumptuous and/or complacent, etc. are life lessons that all can benefit from!
