My Prediction And Hopes For This Season

So im just going to have a little say on how i think my team West Ham will do this season.

So last season was a fairly disappointing season after the previous season we was literally just a few points off finishing 4th which would have been a massive achievement, so last season the hopes was quite high for us to well again and with us having a chance to enter the Europa league as well in which we failed against a very poor team that i have never heard of. So with us losing in that game and not giving ourselves a chance to get into Europe we was hoping for a better start to the season with yet another year that we needed a striker and the owners just not getting anyone worth while in. Zaza was meant to be our big name signing and well he was just dreadful and he admitted himself he couldn't hack it in premier league. With Zaza and other loan signing Calleri not working out along with other failed signings Feghouli and Nordtveit who both came in on a free transfer. It was not a good summer at all for West Ham and with the move to the Olympic Stadium didnt help things either with fans fighting alot in the first few games of the season and people not happy with there seats or with the stewarding either. Also having a big problem with star player Dimitri Payet with us ending up being forced to sell him back to france at a low price considering his previous season he was rumored with Real Madrid for big money. We ended up finishing the season in 11th just below half way which wasnt to bad considering we was scrapping near the bottom for a good chunk of the season.

This season i think at minimum we need to finishing in the top half and try and push for the Europa League places. So far we have shipped out alot of players with Zaza leaving in January, Calleri has also gone back from his loan spell. Nordtveit being shipped back to Germany and Feghouli seemingly on his way out aswell. also with some of our youngsters being loaned out again aswell, Oxford, Burke, Cullen all being loaned back out again. So right now we have got alot of players out and only Zabaleta coming in which for me is abit worrying considering alot of the premier league clubs have been doing alot of there business early. We desperately need to make sure we get at least 1 or 2 strikers in. We have brought in Zabaleta which is a solid signing with us again failing to sort out our right back situation and not signing a proper right back and playing players out of position to cover for it.

So im hoping for at least a top half finish with this being our 2nd season in the new stadium
