Standings After Week 1

Congratulations everyone on completing week 1 of the Steem Fantasy Football League. We had eleven monstrous franchises battle it out in exciting head to head match ups, with only one franchise succumbing to casualty before they could arrive to the stadium. When the dust settled, six franchises remained undefeated, and six franchises were handed their first lost. See where your team stack up below...

Week 1 Match Up Breakdowns

Lucksacks vs Pot Heads

week1lucksacksvspotheads.jpg
Lucksacks took the victory by scoring 114.18 points to Pot Heads' 99.28 Had Pot Heads played Theo Riddick the game may have been interesting, but that is only if Lucksacks kept his starting lineup as is. As you can see, he too left quite a few points on the bench. Lucksack seems to have a pretty decent team; perhaps needs a little bit of RB help. The Pot Heads on the other hand have some glaring issues with their WR core.

Bacchist vs Smokin' Moons

Smokin' Moons came out victorious against Bacchist. Both teams preformed under their expected values. Eddie Lacy could not stop eating long enough to score a TD which brought down Smokin's totals. And OBJ was too busy asking his ankle to marry him to hit the field, which brought down Bacchist's total points. I feel both franchises will have a decent season, although Smokin' is banking pretty hard on Seattle football.

Pink Socks vs BlitzRix

This was the closest match of the week. The Pink Socks eeked out a victory by less than a point. Both teams had some great showings, but also lots of plain no shows. Both teams have some pretty decent players, but if they want any chance at winning the league, their new up and coming players will have to have some big games. Individual points totaling less than six is just not going to cut it on a championship winning fantasy team.

Kebab Kings vs Cloud Crushers

week1kebabkingsvscloudcrushers.jpg
As you may or may not be able to tell from the image above, this was our least competitive match of the week. The Kebab Kings left all their meat at home, and were unsuccessful at making any kebabs. Although, if you see the whopping 164.82 points scored by The Cloud Crushers, The Kebab King could have used unicorn meat in his kebabs, and it would not have made any difference. This showing has taught us an important lesson mind you, whoever said, "you can't lose if you don't play...", was dead wrong. Kebab King you did not play, and you loss BIG.

Waffles-n-Syrup vs MissiontotheMOON

week1wafflevsmissiontothemoon.jpg
This was just an old fashion romping. Moon Mission nearly doubled the points of Waffles. Waffles-n-Syrup's WR's and RB's need to actually show up and earn some points, or it's going to be a long season. If Mission keeps up this kind of play, he will most certainly land himself a seat to the championships. I will say that Waffles had an outstanding showing from not one, but both of his defensive selections. Too bad they couldn't both be starters.

Daut44 vs Stargate Worlds

week1daut44vsstargateworlds.jpg
This was yet another crushing defeat. Daut44 had an excellent showing from all his players, and even left some big time points on the bench. From the looks of Daut44's team, this will be one win of many. Stargate World's played a good game, but just too many of his players laid eggs. He had some excellent scoring from a few players, but a larger number of them just didn't bother to show up. Stargate World will need to bring a little more consistency to his lineup if he wants a chance to take the glory.

Thank you all for your time, and stay tuned for a look at the week 2 match ups. Until then, please take a moment to get to know our sponsors.

Haha! I only won because yes Eddie Lacy was probably full from a pre-game thanksgiving feast, while OBJ was a last minute scratch. I will do better next week.

@bigpchef Thanks for your work as well! Followed
