Even before the Games, the Ministry of Youth and Sports hinted that it was not worthwhile to pin hopes on our athletes and that even one medal would be a success. And this achieved result is not the worst, because twice Ukrainians returned from previous Winter Olympics in general without rewards. But can this be called normal for a country with a long list of sports victories in the recent past?

As the audit showed, 40 bases can not ensure the proper conduct of training camps and competitions of national teams on all the specific lists of sports. 21 the base can not do this because of the lack of necessary equipment and equipment. 14 bases - because of the workload of the educational process. 5 bases - because of reconstruction works.

Someone will say that there is no money for equipment. To which, in the report we find the answer that only during the last two years the state budget funds in the amount of over 6 million UAH have been used by the Ministry of Youth and Sports for other purposes.
