Cristiano Ronaldo no longer wants to leave Madrid
We have got to know that Cristiano Ronaldo, who because of tax fraud wanted to leave Madrid, now will be staying there. After Florentino Perez' show of support towards Ronaldo, Ronaldo is tempted to stay at Madrid. According to an AS journalist, Perez has been able to calm Ronaldo down and convinced him to stay at Real Madrid.
After the tax-fraud allegations, several clubs including Paris Saint Germain, Manchester United and AS Monaco were linked to the Portugese star-player. We may keep in mind that in 2015, Neymar was asked by his father to leave Barcelona with the same case but he refused to do so and I'm sure Ronaldo would do the same.
Knowing Ronaldo's release clause is 1 Billion Pounds, no club has yet made any offer. Ronaldo has also been the key player in Real Madrid's Champions League success, scoring a hat-trick in the semi-finals against their local rivals, Atletico and a brace in the final against the Italian giants, Juventus.
