The way to strength – Part 1

Many of us admire weightlifters or strongman because of their superhuman strength. Especially when we where younger, many of us wanted to be as strong as the heroes we admired.

But than again, not many people act to make their dreams come true. Because we don't see many really strong people around us.

But is there a need to be strong in the age of technology anyways?


Being physically strong makes you mentally strong too. Because if you get your body used to lift heavy weights, you have to prepare yourself mentally every single time you lift. You don't just walk into the gym and lift double your bodyweight without any preparation. You have to concentrate and focus your mind.

So the stronger your body gets the stronger you will get mentally. If you are able to squat 1.5 times your bodyweight for a couple of reps, you will look at other problems in your life with an attitude like: “Hey, I overcame bigger problems than you, I don't even concider you to be a problem!”

And although we live in the age of technology and robots, physically strength is still required in your every day life. Even simple tasks like grocery or doing your laundry are much easier if you are physically fit.

So, being strong is not only a quality you can benefit of in the gym, but you can benefit from it in your daily life too.

So how do I get strong?


There are many ways to become strong. All of them work, at least until you reach a certain level. All of them have their pros and cons. In the next post I will tell you the way, that worked best for me, when I started training, so God will.
