SBP (Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas) Chairman Emeritus Manny Pangilinan is not satisfied with Team Pilipinas being qualified in the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 which will be held at China starting August 31 until September 15. It was really difficult for the team but he was aiming that Team Pilipinas will be in the Final 16. His hoping the best for the team and they will take necessary steps to win.

Team Pilipinas is in Group D together with Serbia which is world # 4, Angola and Italy. Chairman Pangilinan wants the team to make a tons of preparation and intense practice for this is the only way they could endure the World Cup. On the other hand, Coach Guiao wouldnt want the team to contend in Jones Cup.
