[Premier League]: Review of the 4th round.
Hello! Club football left us for two weeks, but that does not mean that there will not be football, it's time for soccer in the performance of national teams. Well, while we sum up the results of the last tour of the Premier League.
Leicester City - Liverpool
This match, I sorted out the preview of the tour. And as I expected the match for Liverpool was not an easy one. However, the account was first opened by the Merseyside. Already in the 10th minute after the powerful passage of Andrew Robertson knocked along one of the defenders of Leicester City, Sadio Mane opened the scoring in the match. In the first half, Liverpool completely owned the initiative on the field, Leicester City attacks for the most part were unpromising. But at the very end of the first half Roberto Firmino, after filing with the corner from James Milner, made the score 0-2. Perhaps Liverpool would have continued to methodically finish off the opponent if it was not for the error of the goalkeeper. Too self-confident attempt to beat the striker Lester in the performance of Alison ended in a missed goal. What managed to make the Brazilian goalkeeper in the last round with Brighton failed to perform in this match. To some extent, this goal will bring down the tension a little from the goalkeeper, who by word spent the rest of the match perfectly. So it's hardly worth worrying about repeated mistakes. For this match, bookmakers offered not very high odds and yet I managed to catch Live a good coefficient on Total less 3.5.
On Saturday, most of the matches took place. An interesting match was given to Brighton and Fulham. Brighton could open the scoring in the 25th minute, but Pascal Groß did not realize a penalty and at the end of the first half, Fulham opened the account. At the 43rd minute, André Schürrle scored. Everything is logical: You do not score - they score you. And at the 62nd minute, Alexander Mitrovic increased the guests' advantage in this match. But the more experienced rival did not give up so simply. Already after five minutes Glenn Murray reduced the backlog in the account to one goal. And at the end of the match he also realized a penalty and equalized the score in the match. Brighton does not look convincing yet, but Fulham seems to be starting to get used to it. Quite an intense match held Chelsea defeated Bournemouth with a score of 2-0 at the end of the match. Goals scored Pedro Rodriguez and Eden Hazard. Crystal Palace once again failed. The absence of Wilfried Zaha on the field benefited Southampton. "Orlam" was simply no one to lead the attack and as a result, the "saints" won the first victory in the championship. Everton and Huddersfield Town divided their points equally in a draw 1-1. West Ham United suffered a fourth straight defeat this season. This time from Wolverhampton at the very end of the match in the 93rd minute. Perhaps a break in the championship will go to the "hammers" for good. Manchester City won a 2-1 victory over Newcastle United. The "forty" so far things are also not the best way, the team in four games scored only one point.
Cardiff City - Arsenal
In this match, the newcomer hosted Arsenal at home. "Gunners" traditionally bad play in away matches so here it was possible to take a good bet in Live, which I did, catching a coefficient of 1.9 on the Total more than 2.5. As for the match itself, I did not expect such a quickness from Cardiff. Surrender to the Welsh clearly not going to meet the goal with a goal. However, the team could not win the first victory in the Premier League, Arsenal's attack was more powerful and in the end Alexander Lakazett made an account 2-3 in the 81st minute of the match and brought three points to his club. Still ahead of Cardiff is not so bad and I think in the next rounds the team will prove itself. Well, the Arsenal is clearly a problem in the defense, which must be started to decide now.
And of course, perhaps, the central match of the tour between Watford and Tottenham. It would have been difficult to call it, if not for the fact that Watford is now in the Top 4. Prior to that, the team beat Brighton, Burnley and Crystal Palace, while conceding only two goals. Nevertheless, in the victory of Tottenham no one doubted. And @smartell and I also believed that the "spurs" in this match will be much more serious to resist. And wrong. Tottenham as in the match with Man United first half ended without a goal. At the beginning of the second half, the "spurs" came forward thanks to an own goal. But after about ten minutes Watford began to crush Tottenham and in the 69th minute Troy Dini equalized the score, and after seven minutes Craig Cathcart brought the "moose" forward. As a result, Watford won the fourth consecutive victory and retained a place in the top four. After the defeat from Tottenham Hotspur Manchester United scored a confident victory over Burnley thanks to two goals Romelu Lukaku.
