MORAL DILEMMA. What do you think about paying € 220 MILLION for a football player?

Hello friends of steemit. First of all, it is necessary to clarify that I have always been passionate about the "king sport", and I have vibrated as the most with the goals of my team (FC Barcelona), having brilliant times with the magic of Rivaldo , Ronaldinho, Messi and more recently, Neymar. And it is precisely with the signing of this last player by the PSG, which begins a turning point that makes me rethink my relationship with football in a much more critical way: really a football player can be worth 220 million euros? Have we gone crazy?

The truth is that I have always found the football market and the stratospheric figures that are handled by a profession that is perhaps too socially overvalued (Why a Cristiano goal can be a newspaper cover, while the last advance of a scientist for the cure of cancer goes completely unnoticed?)

After the sounded "most expensive transfer in the history of football" this summer perpetuated by the Arab Sheikh Nasser Al-Khelaifi to take Neymar from Barcelona to PSG, aside from the chagrin of losing one of my team's favorite stars, a deep feeling of repulsion grew towards the world of football in general, which increasingly has less to do with that noble sport that made me dream as a child playing with my friends in a field with four cans as a goal, and more of the current dark business of the uncontrolled current financial economy without soul and with excessive excess of ambition.

From my point of view, It is absolutely immoral, disgusting and obscene to be paid 220 million euros for a football player.

It is a really exorbitant amount, which collides enormously with the reality and the day to day of the average citizen who increasingly suffers more cuts, more evictions, more tax burdens and more labor problems to fill the fridge at the end of the month. It is a quantity, which can perfectly be the budget of many cities and with which many things could be done at the social level and for the benefit of many people. How many hospitals and schools could be made with 220 million?

The truth is that all this, together with the recent signings of Barça of 130 million for Dembelé and 160 million for Coutinho, clashes head-on with my value system of what I consider to be right or wrong, and they have made me totally lose interest in football, to the point that I have practically stopped seeing any game so as not to be an accomplice of this aberration.
