MANCHESTER VS ARSENAL - MATCH REVIEW

We were all expecting many things to happen yesterday, but only few us would have imagined four goals coming out of that match. Manchester United style of play always shows they are there to defend, they wouldn't allow the opponent secure a win, and most times they wouldn't score much too. It's amazing how the scoreline ended 2-2. It was really hot at Old Trafford.

Jose Mourinho didn't include Pogba and Lukaku in the starting lineup, yet his team did pretty well. Arsenal missed Xhaka, he was suspended due to the number of yellow cards he had received. Well, Unai Emery knows best; he didn't feature Lacazette in the starting line, and he played Iwobi and Ramsey instead. His attacking side wasn't the problem though, Arsenal had a poor defence yesterday which led to Manchester United's two goals.

The actions began in the 26th minute. Arsenal got a corner kick and Lucas Torreira played it brilliantly. It went straight to the waiting head of Mustafi who placed it towards De Gea. The Spanish goal keeper made a terrible save that was later sent away by Herrera. But it was late already, the ball had crossed the line before Herrera could play it out, and that was how Arsenal started the lead. That joy didn't last long though; four minutes later, Manchester United equalized.

Manchester United got a free kick in the 30th minute, Leno was able to save the shot but his defenders couldn't play it out. Herrera got to the ball first and sent it across - Anthony Martial was right there to receive it, he scored directly from the spot and made it 1 -1. There was no winner in the first half and the game was balanced.

Andre Marriner awarded six yellow cards in the match, that showed how tough the match was. The players were cautious of themselves and didn't allow the opponents create chances. Lacazette changed the scoreline in the 68th minute; the goal was argued to be an own goal though. But he had contact with the ball, so he was given the credits. He got a fine assist from Henrikh Mkhitaryan. And again, Arsenal's joy didn't last - Manchester United equalized in the next minute. Another defensive error led to Jesse Lingard's goal in the 69th minute.

That settled it! A winner wasn't determined, and each team got one point. Arsenal had a chance to be ahead of Chelsea - the blues lost their match against wolves yesterday. Manchester United would have claimed the 6th spot if they won too. But a point is manageable since it was a big game.
