"The Weekend Wash-Up" AFL Fantasy Draft Review + Summary!
Hi Everyone,
Elite Fantasy action was back this week after the 3 week bye hiatus.
We are in the business end of the season now with the run home.
With Round 15 all done we now only have 4 matches to go.
Round 15 Results:
Losing Jack Macrae to injury was a hit for my Midfield this week but thanks to some big performances from Gawn, Beams, Swallow and Brayshaw in the Midfield.
This insured that I (@dahmsy79) was able to see off (@dblstr) 1494 - 1109 to keep my unbeaten record in tact.
Steemit Huskies had a strong win over Kulate, 1400 - 934 to consolidate his spot in the top 8.
The Huskies were down a couple due to injuries but when Tom Mitchell puts up a ridiculous 195 it papers over a few holes!
They are now into 6th spot on the ladder.
Playing for Draft Picks also consolidated her spot in the 8 with a 1323 - 924 victory over Farqers.
Nankervis had a day out in the Ruck with a 131 for the Picks and Coniglio continued his fine season with a 118.
The Picks are into 5th spot now and just a game off the Top 4.
In the match of the round between two top 4 teams, it was the 4th placed Piston-Broke that got the chocolates over 2nd placed Little Old Lady.
The Old Lady had not answer to an in form Pistons team led by a rampaging Brody Grundy (151) in the Ruck.
The Pistons won 1413 - 1195 to overtake the Old Lady on the ladder and move into 3rd spot.
Mmeow had the bounty chance this week against Lockout (@o07) but was also playing to keep her place in the Top.
Unfortunately for Mmeow it all went wrong this week and she could only muster a score of 1033 that wasn't enough to get near Lockout's 1431.
Lockout took advantage of the Old Lady losing and moves into 2nd on the ladder while Mmeow is clinging to 8th spot.
Brockies Superstars and Medhurst Minions are both a long way off the 8 but haven't put the cue in the rack just yet.
These two played out a thriller this week with the Minions prevailing 1460 - 1442.
With this win the Minions is two games out of the 8 so faint finals chance is still there.
The Mighty Fitzroy Lions are 9th on the ladder and desperately trying to break into the 8 but it was never going to be easy this week against the in form I Wear Footy Pajamas.
The Footy Pajamas was determined to not give up his spot in the 8 and won 1426 -1235.
The Pajamas are now into 7th spot and the Mighty Fitzroy Lions remains in 9th.
The Lions were fortunate Mmeow lost as well so remain only a game out of the Top 8.
Lions4Life's finals chances took a real hit this week with the Cunning Stunts is Back Again causing the upset to win a close one, 1392 - 1359.
The win keeps the Cunning Stunts faint Top 8 hopes alive and moves him level on points with Lions4Life.
They are both 2 games out of the 8 with 4 games to go.
So with the 4 Rounds remaining, the all important Top 8 looks like this:

The Mighty Fitzroy Lions is in the unlucky 9th position on 20 points.
Taking a look at the Round 16 games that could help shape the 8 we have:
The 6th placed Steemit Huskies gets a shot at the bounty against me (@dahmsy79) this week.
The Huskies will be eager to be the first team to roll me to keep their Top 4 chances alive.
A loss will put them back in the mix at the lower part of the 8.
Piston-Broke (@sparkesy43) will be favored to consolidate his spot in the Top 4 further with a likely victory over Kulate coming up.
An important match up for Playing for Draft Picks against Lockout.
Not only do the Picks have the Bounty chance but it also an opportunity to go level on points with a Top 4 side.
This match up should be a beauty.
The Little Old Lady will be wanting to return to winning ways against Medhurst Minions.
A win would ensure the Old Lady stays in the Top 4 and would also snuff out any lingering Top 8 chances the Minions have.
7th placed I Wear Footy Pajamas takes on v 8th placed Mmeow in a clutch game this week.
A win for the Pajamas would go a long way to locking in Finals action while a loss for Mmeow could mean dropping out of the 8.
Almost an elimination Final this week when the 9th placed Mighty Fitzroy Lions takes on Lions4Life.
A loss would certainly snuff out Lions4Life's top 8 hopes while a win for the Mighty Fitzroy Lions could sneak them into the Top 8 depending on other results.
A big round coming up so remember to get your team right by Thursday as we have early lockout again.

Certainly a logjam from 2nd to 7th on the ladder at the moment. Dropping a game could have big ramifications for the finals.....
