COLLEGE SPORTS

The school has anticipated the production of sportswear for all collegiate until the 2017/2018 session. On this pedal, students were so much expectant as to receiving their sportswear. Ninety percent (90%) of the students came early to school, all with excitement on their faces. On a normal day, the students would give excuses for coming late to school, it wasn’t so today. Definitely they anticipated having a lot of fun and no one wants to be left out or told stories that touch.

Immediately after the assembly, the sports master, #MrAnthony Blessed, marched the students into the sport complex for the day’s activity. What a term!
First, the students were made to queue up in straight lines facing the sports master who took them in so sort of exercises or drill if you will call it. On the whole, it was a colourful event as students took time to wear different sneakers showcasing how best they can proof their worth.

The sports complex was manned by some non-academic staff. Security guards were on ground to check any form of suspecting scenario or threat.
On the other side of the pitch, a medical team was situated to help attend to any case of injury and the likes. But throughout the event there were no casualties. But some athletes demanded a handful of glucose to ginger them for the hot inter-class track event.

that looked more like indoor games were: scrabble, monopoly, chess, and scotch. You definitely can’t have a very successful sports event in tropical west Africa without the ball games, especially football. There was also basketball, volleyball, handball and cricket.
The sporting programme is scheduled to hold every Wednesday as part of the co-curricular activity for students as they pass through the walls of a school. The government has made it compulsory at all levels of education to involve learners in the process as it build the psychomotor aspect of learning.
Thus, I’d like to inform readers, parents, tutors and school managers that schooling in actually incomplete without sports.
