Gabriel Jesus and his particular way of celebrating goals

in #sport6 years ago (edited)

Hello friends of Steemit especially to those passionate about football, who take the time to read my Post, I hope you are very well and that all your investments continue to grow every day. Today I will tell you about the history of a great player and his particular way of celebrating each and every one of his goals.

His name is Gabriel Fernando de Jesús or better known as Gabriel Jesus was born on April 3, 1997 in Sao Paulo, Brazi
l, currently playing at Manchester City in England. This player has had a very hard childhood and is an example of overcoming for many children in Brazil who want to achieve their dreams.

He grew up in a neighborhood called Peri Jardim, where the situation to live is very difficult, there people have to work very hard to have a better quality of life. He is the youngest of four siblings, his father abandoned him when he was born so his mother, Vera Lucia Diniz, took care of him and his siblings. The player says that he was very lucky because his mother also became his father and wanted him to continue his career as a professional player, his dream.

His beginnings were in a club called "Clube Pqueninos" where together with his friends they practiced twice a week in a field of terrible conditions, which was next to a military prison, where only the policemen who guarded the prison played. This club also provided food markets for many children who took them home to feed themselves.

Most of the children in Brazil dream of being great soccer players but very few make it, since most of these little ones live in very humble neighborhoods and you have to work from an early age to help their families, so many run out of that dream. But Gabriel was fortunate because his mother decided to work hard to get his home and help the child to follow his dreams.

When he was only 13 years old he played with older men, obviously the game was more of physical contact but the little one didn't give up easily. At the age of 15 he had a chance at Palmeiras and not wasted it, from that moment the young footballer showed his quality as a player, since he signed his first contract his career was taking giant steps. He reached the first division team and his performance was such that he was called to the national team to play the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

The joy and emotion his overwhelming, totally incredible, because just two years ago he was painting the streets for the 2014 World Cup Brazil was now in the selection of his country along with their great figures. They won the final and therefore the gold medal for their country, it was the only trophy that the national team had not managed to conquer. The joy for him and his family was indescribable.

A moment that the player remembers a lot in his youth was once he scored a goal which was crucial for the team, he saw that all his teammates were celebrating with their father and he did not have his, then he saw in the stands a woman greeting and celebrating euphorically, that woman was his mother who had come to see his little one play. His mother became his greatest motivation, every time he scored a goal he called him on the phone to talk to him, and when Gabriel did not answer he called one of his friends to find out about him.

When he arrived in Europe at Manchester City his current team, he did not see his mother very often, as the trip was exhausting for her. At first he felt lonely and lost, since he did not speak English and it was the first time that he was so long without his mother, which was everything for him, who always support him to follow his dreams.

But he invented a way to keep his mother present on the pitches, every time the player scores a goal he gestures with his hand as if he were picking up the phone and says: "Alô Mãe".

is he calling his mother?

Yeah, firend, the player's gesture is like he's calling his mother to tell her he just scored a goal.
