The big game is here. Liverpool and Manchester City for the UEFA quarter finals. This means that tonight our house is painted half red and half sky blue. My son is a Manchester City fan and I am a Liverpool fan. As far as for the rest of the family, it depends on how they feel. So I am trying to persuade them to support Liverpool. It doesn't seem like I have good persuasive qualities. It seems for now that its the parents against the kids.

All premier league sides have immense rivalry between them. There is no difference when it comes to these two sides. On paper, Manchester City has the edge. As the Fifa ratings would suggest, Manchester City has an overall rating of 84. Whereas Liverpool are rated at 81. When it comes to ratings between player to player, every Manchester City player is rated above their peers in the Liverpool side. However, where Liverpool falls behind in ratings, there fans make it up in support. For Liverpool it is so important that this first game is played at Anfeild, Liverpool's home ground. They surely will have the full voice of their fans. Their fans are regarded as an extra player.

When it come to two coaches, they have their own personal rivalry too. Both Klopp and Pep are strong leaders. Both coaches have the ability to bring out the best from their players. When it comes to tactics, they are both well known to have the edge over other coaches. Most coaches will shiver to play against either one of them.

When the draw was made and these two sides were named to play against each other, it left a mouthwatering prospect. For those who wish to see a good game and don't support either side will not be left disappointed. These two sides both play attacking football and are both on top of their game.

For me, I wish Liverpool comes through. Whatever happens I am surely going to enjoy the game.
