It's not about just having a dig at referees. It's "how" you do it so that at the end of the day, your comments take up a psychological advantageous position in the head of your players. That is why they are called mind games. Mourinho bests Wenger in that regard. For Jose, even the mildest of fiascoes is an opportunity to play them.
And we all know that Jose needs currently all the mind games possible to explain/mitigate his inability to catch up with City.
Yes of course. It's what he does. Doesn't make him any less pathetic just that the context here is that he does it better than Wenger.
