Re REGISTRATION and PAYMENT OF ENTRY FEES

Many Masters have used the new online registration to register for either the 2018 European Masters in Budapest or the World Masters in Barcelona but a percentage of you have ignored the 72 hours deadline for paying the entry fee. This is causing the Secretariat a lot of unnecessary work in sending out reminder emails to those who have neglected to pay.

This may lead to more and unnecessary work because if payment is not received soon after the "reminder" email they will be deleted from the Start List. Those still wishing to compete must then re-register and may find they have left it too late because once the deadline date is reached for either championship the registration will be closed, i.e., first the European Masters and later the World Masters.

Organisers cannot run big championships without money to hire the venue and buy medals and deal with many other items of expenditure. Please give your consideration to this email and to preventing additional work and if you have not made your payment do so now. You may also give consideration to the fact that many Masters have followed instructions and paid after registering.
