Why the fuck should you watch “Creed II”?
• You sleep the best when you see seminude muscular men punching each other in your dreams.
• You think that the “Rocky” franchise should get new movies as often as Marvel’s superhero franchise does.
• You hate surprises in movies.
• Your favourite movie of all time is “Masters of Universe” from 1987, because Doooolph Luuundgreeen!

Sylvester Stallone’s “Rocky” franchise’s spin-off movie “Creed” has got a sequel now, either you wanted it or not – it’s here. So, since the first one was surprisingly OK then we should be expecting the sequel to be horrible. Well, it’s not. It still has the fundamentals done right, like some of the Rocky movies had: a real story about people and their struggles in life, the boxing part is just to give it a frame to be in.

In Creed II, there’s a comeback of a Russian former boxer Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren), by who Creed’s (Michael B. Jordan) father Apollo Creed got killed during a boxing match ages ago. Now the Drago is back with his son Viktor (Florian Munteanu), who he has turned into highly skilled Russian boxing monster. Drago has been all dark and gloomy after his life was destroyed by the humiliating loss to Rocky in a boxing match, so his life purpose is to return the name Drago back into glory trough his son.

Ivan Drago is a Russian who’s portrayed by a Swede, who’s living in Ukraine and goes to USA to look pictures at Rocky’s place and says his famous line: “nice picture”. It’s an totally epic…hmm, well not an epic one-liner, but it’s certainly something. His son Viktor is a Russian, who lives in Ukraine and goes to USA to please his father’s wishes, portrayed by a Romanian, who grew up in Germany.
So yes, whenever there were any Russian dialogue in the movie, all the Russians in the cinema laughed.

Anyways you’ll see drama, you’ll see people in the hospital and you’ll see some old Sylvester Stallone who doesn’t want at the beginning and then he wants in the end.

Not a great movie, but has it’s moments.

Why the fuck you shouldn’t watch “Creed II”?
• You have always liked beautiful straight thin noses that have never been brutally broken.
• You are a women’s curling fan.
• You have not wanted to achieve anything with 100% determination in your life. If so, you’ll never understand why those men beat each other. They could pay their bills by working in a grocery store, right?
• You want to learn how to box. I’m pretty sure you shouldn’t learn things like these from the Hollywood movies.
