Qualifying stage, yes or no??

Lots of dust (not snow) has been in the air after Rally Sweden. Five times World Rally Champ Ogier couldn't get higher then 10th place because he had to clean the road for all three days.

So, his team M-Sport Ford and himself started a talk about qualifying stage again.
What's qualifying stage for a newbie? That's some kind of a stage (like a shake down) where you fight for a best time and then, as you are higher, you choose your starting position.

So, if you are fastest on qualifying stage, you first choose your starting position.

To remind you: Ogier was a championship leader after Monte Carlo Rallye so he had to start first on day 1 and clean the road of fresh snow.

Let me tell you my opinion about qualifying stage...
If we don't have dominant team, it's not bad idea. But if some team will dominate this season, it's a bad idea because they will also be fastest at qualifying stage and choose starting position.
So there is no point at all...
