Proton Iriz R5 to be homologated in December
Hi, Steemers!
A few months ago I wrote two or three posts about a new R5 car which was in development at that time. It's still in development, and it has not any rally in it's history at the moment. Factory has to homologate the car by the FIA and until that moment car can't be run in the international championships.
It can be run only in the national championships if the national federation approve it.
But now Proton decided to homologate the car at the FIA and it will be at the 1st of December. So it's a good news for all rally fans across the globe.
We like rallying and every new car is a plus for the sport. What is a sport without competition?! Nothing. More drivers and more cars give us better pleasure of watching it.
Let we all hope that this soap opera will finish with the happy ending because this car was revealed more then year ago and it has zero kms on the competitive stages.
