Carlos Sainz sr is also called El Matador because of his glorious style of driving on full atack mode.

That is the reason why he was twice World Rally Champion, in 1990 and 1992.

He drove for many works teams but always for that one in front. He had an opportunity to be a works SEAT driver, as a Spaniard he should be, but he never choose this solution.

He always wanted to be in the top team. At the end of his career he drove for Ford and Citroen and this great photo is from his Ford days.
