MEM is a motorsport company known to drivers and rally gentlemen keen to try quicker machines.
MEM prepared Proton Satria S2000 which competed in Intercontinental Rally Challange (organized by Eurosport) and in SWRC class (today WRC2 category). Many drivers competed with their cars, such as P-G Anderson, C. Atkinson and even A.McRae (Colin's younger brother) and all of them paid by Proton. That means that they were very serious in their motorsport program. I know only on private car outside GB sold to a driver in Italy who had many problems with non finishing rallies.
Now they work on a new Proton's car Iriz in R5 category. They even brought two times champ Gronholm to test it so maybe we can expect something from the car.
FIA homologation date should be 1st of January 2018 and from then the car should be available to customers. Price should be from 200 000€.
