Lukyanuk leading Rally di Roma Capitale 2018 after first full day of competition

Lukyanuk Alexey is leading another event of the European Rally Championship called Rally di Roma Capitale 2018 which is based in Italy and driven on the fabulous roads around the city of Rome.

Whole rally is long around 200kms and it has 15 special stages.

Yesterday evening it was only one super special stage but the very short one.

Today was the real action. And only the guys with the most experience and skills stayed on the road and are ready for another day of competition which is tomorrow.

So, Lukyanuk is leading in his Ford Fiesta R5 in front of the super quick Italian Basso Giandomenico who's driving Škoda Fabia R5 this time. The difference between this two drivers is 15.8s which is not much because we have another 7 special stages tomorrow on the program.

Third place was reserved for a German driver called Kreim Fabian and I must admit that I was a little bit surprised with that because I never heard for some better result of this driver before.

So, tomorrow we have anothe 7 special stages and then we will know the winner of this event of the European Rally Championship.

One more thing to be said: all five top drivers were on Pirelli tires.
