EXCLUSIVE: Hoy much does it cost to organize WRC rally

Yesterday I wrote about Croatia being a potential WRC organizer for the years 2019 and 2020. Now I found some very interesting details about prices of FIA for every organizer.

Event costs 1.25m€ and FIA wants money guaranties from the Government of the country that organizes the event.

In this 1.25m€ we have a production costs of 500 000€.

Support costs to the WRC teams are 660 000€.

Costs of foreign expert services are 125 000€.

So the costs are around 1.3m€ and that's not cheap for a minor sport in medias but we are tourist country and we hope we will make a profit on it.

And it would be nice to have a WRC event in my country...
