Camacho won Rali Vinho da Madeira 2018

Another weekend in rallying and it's another win for Škoda Fabia R5 rally car. Škoda really did great job with this R5 rally car because they are selling it in large numbers.

Don't forget that car costs around 300 000€.

Rali Vinho da Madeira is the international rally event driven in Portugal and the surface is tarmac. Rally is long just something more then 200km and it's in the championship of Portugal, TER (Tour European Rallies) and Iberian Rally Trophy.

TER is a new series in rallying and they try to be something like a Intercontinental Rally Challenge 10 years ago. They want a good publishing in medias but we can't forget that it was Eurosport that was held behind the IRC.

It's a hard work in front of the guys behind the TER series if they want some kind of success.

So, it's interesting to see that in the top 10 there's only one crew which is not from Portugal and it's a German crew with Wagemans as a driver behind a wheel of Peugeot 208 T16 R5. He finished only 9th overall.

It's also important to add that the older generation of WRC cars also included and Ford Focus WRC from the year 2009 finished 4th overall.
