Blast from the past - WRC Rally Sweden 2006 (52 minutes video)

WRC Rally Sweden starts in two days so it is good sometimes to look back in time to see how it looked like 15 years ago or near that distance.

We are going back into year 2006 when there were only two works teams - Ford and Subaru and Citroen was there through private outfit of Kronos Racing from Belgium but with works parts and mechanics.

Marcus Gronholm was still big at that time even his best years when he became WRC champion were behind him.

It is also interesting to see Mitsubishi Lancer WRC which scored 3rd and 4th place in the hands of privateers because MMSP pulled the plug at the end of previous season.

Great time it was.
