Barça breaks Real sociedad with a beautiful remontada!

in #sport7 years ago

After the defeat of Real Madrid against Villarreal, FC Barcelona had the opportunity to leave the Merengues by 19 points! Only, the Catalans were moving to Anoeta, at Real Sociedad, where they had not won since May 2007! But the San Sebastian club is going badly right now, while the Blaugranas are riding La Liga. The perfect opportunity to end this bad series so. Ernesto Valverde lined up a 4-4-2 - flat this time - with André Gomes entry starter in particular, while Eusebio started the game with Oyarzabal, the main offensive danger Basque, on the bench. In the end, the Barcelonans won 4-2, not without having suffered ...

The Barcelonans started the game well though, clearing paths quite easily in the defense of the opponent, before stumbling on a defender or Rulli in the box. Messi was trying to hit far, without success (9th). But it is the local team that would hit first. On an excellent center of Xabi Prieto, Willian Jose, a little forgotten by the Barcelona defense, put a good head against which ter Stegen could do nothing (1-0, 11th). Barca was struggling to react, and the Basques still dominated. Canales was excellent, Willian Jose was a poison ahead. At the half-hour mark, the Eusebio team had already had many opportunities, while there was nothing to report Barça side.
Luis Suarez, decisive!

And it was going to pay. Canales sent a superb ball to Juanmi, who, assisted by Sergio Roberto who had deflected the ball, sent the leather at the back of the net (35th, 2-0). Paulinho, little seen so far, however managed to equalize (39th, 2-1). Suarez had sent a good ball back for the Brazilian, who could send it to the bottom despite a marking on the pants. A reduction in the score almost hopeless given the Basque superiority ... After the locker room, Real seemed a little less aggressive and less enthusiastic ... And Barça took advantage. Messi shifted for Luis Suarez. The Uruguayan, a superb coiled, placed the ball out of reach of Geronimo Rulli (2-2, 51).

The La Liga leader took control under the Basque downpour, but still had trouble worrying Rulli on a regular basis. Until Suarez, once again, makes his appearance. After a ball kicked by Vermaelen in the middle, El Pistolero recovered the ball and went out to beat the other goalkeeper, offering himself a 1-2 (2-3, 72nd)! The Catalans continued their dominance with new hot situations, until this superb free kick Leo Messi (2-4, 85th)! A true golazo, in full skylight! It should be noted that Ousmane Dembélé played about 25 minutes but did not particularly shine. First win in Anoeta since 2007 for Barça, who now has 19 points ahead of Real Madrid. This is also the first time that the Barcelonans go back a negative score and finally win by the Basque club!
